Itinerary

You are going to be picked up by our driver and tour guide from your hotel at 09:30. Then, we will drive Mustafapasa was known as Sinasos (“city of the sun”) and was home to more than 8,000 Greek Orthodox Turkish nationals, who had lived peacefully alongside their Muslim neighbours for generations. The village of Mustafapaşa (formally known as Sinasos) is one of the nicest villages in Cappadocia. In the last century it was the centre of Cappadocia and rich ottomans built their splendid mansions here.

Sobesos Ancient City; the only late-Roman/early- Byzantine settlement found in Cappadocia, mosaic pavements, Roman baths. There are some well-preserved  mosaic floors and the ruins of a bathhouse.  Soganli Valley is located a half an hour south of Urgup. To get here we will drive in and out of valleys through a landscape that looks like a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. In Soganli Valley we will spent about an hour and a half exploring churches that were carved into the sides of the mountains many hundreds of years ago. The churches are more interesting and during the entire time in the valley. After hiking in Soganli Valley, we will have lunch in the valley under apple or apricot trees.

After Soganli Valley, we will go to Derinkuyu Underground City. The deepest underground city in Turkey was designed to protect 20,000 people behind massive stone doors. We will explore underground caves around one hour while we are exploring the caves your guide will inform you about different sections of underground city.

Then, we will come out from underground city, we will turn back your hotel around 16:30.
